Conflict between two codes css and javascript

I have a live chat “support” in my website, popup live chat in the right corner.
I hide the button with this css code

.kiwi-live-chat {display: none;}

Then I put this code to trigger the chat popup when someone click on button inside the page.

(function($){
$(document).ready(function($){
$(‘.wp-image-15’).on(‘click’, function(e){
e.preventDefault();
KiwiLiveChat.vent.trigger(‘app:toggle’);
});
})
})(jQuery);

My problem is my css code hide the chat completly! how do I hide the first button and only triger it again when someone click on that button?
