Create two identical pages, one static as a file and the other on the database through a plugin on wordpress

In ExpressionEngine when each page of the website are created through the editor, the system gives you the opportunity to create a static copy of that page simply checking a checkbox, so you’ll create essentially two elements: one will add a row to the database and the other will add a static file in the theme folder.

In wordpress I didn’t find the same option, so I was wondering if there is a plugin that could do the job for me.

Does anyone ever work with something similar?

I heard about Simply-Static but I’m not 100% sure that it will do the job for me.
