Wordpress menus

Custom Post Dropdown not always highlighting subposts when hover

I am very novice at wordpress, fair warning. I tried to change the menu in the appearance tab of the dashboard and think i may have messed something up. Now, when I hover over the custom post in the nav, the subposts options do show up but i am not always able to highlight them or hover over to click them.

Please any help would be appreciated.
