I am wondering, is it a good idea to cache data from WordPress request, like bloginfo(‘url’), or not.

For example, instead of repeating bloginfo(‘url’), if I do this…

$url = get_bloginfo('url');

Will I have better performance by using $url instead of bloginfo?

Or it is just unnecessary?
