I have very interesting issue here. Within my WordPress site I seem to have two distinct instances of the same page, being a Contact page. I have the site on my localhost. When I click on the Contact link in the navigation, or click on a section that redirects to this link’s URL, I should see this:

As you can see, the page is scrollable where I can go down to the actual form. Additionally, here is the source for what you’re viewing - note the 1st

  • for each contact-us portion that contains current-menu-item page_item page-item-30:

    <nav id="navigation" class="grid-80 hide-on-tablet hide-on-mobile ">
      <ul id="menu-main" class="menu">
    <li  class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page current-menu-item page_item page-item-30 current_page_item external">
      <a href="http://scratchholler/#section-contact-us" class="external">Contact Us</a>
    </li>
    <li  class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom external">
      <a href="http://scratchholler/#section-contact-us" class="external">Contact Us</a>
    </li>
      </ul>
    </nav>
    <div class="ut-mm-trigger tablet-grid-50 mobile-grid-50 hide-on-desktop">
      <button class="ut-mm-button"></button>
    </div>
    <nav id="ut-mobile-nav" class="ut-mobile-menu mobile-grid-100 tablet-grid-100 hide-on-desktop">
      <div class="ut-scroll-pane">
        <ul id="ut-mobile-menu" class="ut-mobile-menu">
    <li  class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page current-menu-item page_item page-item-30 current_page_item external">
      <a href="http://scratchholler/#section-contact-us" class="external">Contact Us</a>
    </li>
    <li  class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom external">
      <a href="http://scratchholler/#section-contact-us" class="external">Contact Us</a>
    </li>
        </ul>
      </div>
    </nav>

    Please note that I must literally append /contact-us on the site’s URL end: http://site/contact-us.

    Now here’s what I get when I click the current link for Contact:

    enter image description here

    And note the difference in the source for the Contact

  • that doesn’t have the added 30 in it:

    <nav id="navigation" class="grid-80 hide-on-tablet hide-on-mobile ">
      <ul id="menu-main" class="menu">
    <li  class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page ">
      <a href="#section-contact-us" class="">Contact Us</a>
    </li>
    <li  class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom ">
      <a href="#section-contact-us" class="">Contact Us</a>
    </li>
    </ul>
    </nav>
    <div class="ut-mm-trigger tablet-grid-50 mobile-grid-50 hide-on-desktop">
      <button class="ut-mm-button"></button>
    </div>
    <nav id="ut-mobile-nav" class="ut-mobile-menu mobile-grid-100 tablet-grid-100 hide-on-desktop">
      <div class="ut-scroll-pane">
        <ul id="ut-mobile-menu" class="ut-mobile-menu">
    <li  class="menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page ">
      <a href="#section-contact-us" class="">Contact Us</a>
    </li>
    <li  class="menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom ">
      <a href="#section-contact-us" class="">Contact Us</a>
    </li>
    </ul>
      </div>
    </nav>

    Why am I not seeing the extra form content here?!? It’s like the page with form portion is hidden somewhere, and it seems impossible to find so as to link it where all of it show. If I append it by hard coding it in the Menu section of Apperance in the Dashboard, the page doesn’t scroll anymore - I have to click links to go elsewhere. Can anyone familiar with WordPress or PHP help me out here?

    Here’s a link to a sample site for how it should behave: http://themeforest.unitedthemes.com/themes/brooklyn/yellow/ Just click on What We Do, and you’ll see the navigation. Thanks.
