Wordpress custom-field

Get Users list by separate field.

Is it possible in WordPress or Buddy Press that get users list data as per specific field. Which field filled by user at the time of registration.

For example in hospital management site The receptionist register patient. At the time of registration can we put “Assigned to Doctor” field and that field has drop down list of doctors.

After when doctor logged in and see only their assigned patients list. Not all the patients of hospital or other doctors assigned patients list.
