How to install standard SSL certificate to SUB-DOMAIN?

I am web developer in the company in Canada.
Our company try to sell the product through WordPress Woocommerce and customers will use credit card and paypal information to purchase the products.
Our company domain is SUB-DOMAIN (not root domain) and we are currently with GoDaddy hosting.
So, we bought the STANDARD SSL certificate today, but I don’t know the next step.
I heard that Standard SSL certificate can use for only ONE DOMAIN.
Our root domain does not have SSL certificate as well, but I only want to use this standard SSL certificate for sub-domain, the domain using for our business website.
Could anyone tell me how to do that step by step procedure? (Once again, everything we are working with is GoDaddy: Hosting, SSL certificate, and Domain)

Many Thanks,
