How To Re-Activate WordPress Editor

I’m trying to update a blog that has been developed by someone else. On certain pages, the main editor appears to have been disabled, and I’d like to add it back in so we can add content to these pages.

A custom post type has been defined of type “service” in the functions.php. Editing an individual “service” entry is fine – the editor is there. However,t here is a list page that shows the services, and there is no editor when editing this page.

I’ve checked through functions.php and cannot see it being disabled anywhere in there. Is there anywhere else it could have been disabled? Is it possible to have editor themes, in the same way you have page themes?

I appreciate it’s difficult to diagnose without access, but some pointers as to places where it could have been disabled would be appreciated.
