I’ve had xampp installed for close to 8 months now without any issues, today I installed wordpress for xampp and originally MySQL would run and Apache would not. After a restart the roles seem to have reversed, now Apache appears to run fine but I can’t seem to start MySQL.

Here is what the MySQL error log is showing:

2017-04-04 15:54:00 14864 [ERROR] mysqld.exe: Aria recovery failed. Please run aria_chk -r on all Aria tables and delete all aria_log.######## files
2017-04-04 15:54:00 14864 [ERROR] Plugin 'Aria' init function returned error.
2017-04-04 15:54:00 14864 [ERROR] Plugin 'Aria' registration as a STORAGE ENGINE failed.
2017-04-04 15:54:00 14864 [Note] Plugin 'FEEDBACK' is disabled.
2017-04-04 15:54:00 14864 [ERROR] Aria engine is not enabled or did not start. The Aria engine must be enabled to continue as mysqld was configured with --with-aria-tmp-tables
2017-04-04 15:54:00 14864 [ERROR] Aborting

I’ve tried changing the port with no success. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
