Own Theme Make a Login

I’m currently working on my own Theme just for my personal Site.

On my front Page, i wanted to insert a Login Panel.

I started of by making a form like that, just fpr testing reasons:

<form action=”?page_id=30″ method=”post”>
Name: <input type=”text” name=”name”><br>
E-mail: <input type=”text” name=”email”><br>
<input type=”submit”>
</form>

Then I created a page-30.php file, containing:

<html>
<body>

Welcome <?php echo $_POST[“name”]; ?><br>
Your email address is: <?php echo $_POST[“email”]; ?>

</body>
</html>

When I submit the empty form on my front page, everytihng works as expected.

However, when I type in a name or email, a page with the same URL opens, but It’s just an empty Version of my page.php.

Is there a better way to do a login in WordPress WITHOUT a plugin ?
