PayPal BuyNow submit/ click and formular submit email send – failing two events work on Internet Explorer 11 but it runs on the other browsers

enter image description here

It’s about running two events simultaneously / one after another, following an action in Internet Explorer 11. Firefox Chrome, Opera, Android Browsers works, but not on Internet Explorer.

Have a form where you enter contact information like:
– Surname
– Address
Etc.

And a selection box with values such as A, B, C … with “data” values such as name, price etc. and the selection is transferred to the hidden fields of the PayPal button via JavaScript …

Then after you have filled out all / selected and you accept the terms and conditions and click the “PayPal Buy Now” button, where you will then be forwarded to PayPal.

Then an email with the completed data will be sent in the background and you will be redirected to PayPal.

On Firefox, Chrome, Opera and mobile browser it works as it should … BUT with the Internet Explorer 11 it does not work … it will only send an e-mail but you will not be redirected to PayPal …

In short: execute two events.

Picture of the formular:

JavaScript/ Jquery Code which Trigger the submit/ send of the formular:

$('#online-signin').on('click', '.paypal-btn > input:image', function () {
        $(document.forms['online-signin']).trigger("submit");
});

I work with CF7 and WordPress PayPal Plugin
