Using the plugin WC Fields Factory, I’ve created 3 custom fields, which show up for simple products in the “general” tab.
If data is inputted directly into the custom field in the product > general tab I can see it without a problem, I can update the product and the value of each custom field, and it stays there. When I look in the database, the value doesn’t match though.
This is leaving me to believe there are two places for this data.
If I use a CSV importer for the custom fields, the information imports into the correct fields in the database but does not show in the admin panel.
