WordPress – Social Logins through OAuth without access to Backend

I am trying to create a form where users can submit messages to my WordPress site. For that I want to give them the option of sign in through Twitter, Facebook or Google.

The problem is that most of the “Social Login” plugins I have found are to actually give access to the backend. (For instance, https://github.com/miled/wordpress-social-login).

All I really want from their Social Network data is just their name and a profile picture.

Looking through the previous mentioned plugin, “WordPress Social Login”, I saw that it uses something called HybridAuth which might be able to give me the functionality I want, but at the same time feels like I might have to build my own plugin, if I use it. And I’m not sure if I’m digging too deep to make such a feature.

Is there a simpler way to achieve this task?
