WordPress theme-less.css file reverting back to old state and css

We are developing two sites that are both hosted by GoDaddy. One of them is on GoDaddy’s “Managed WordPress” plan.

We have a file called “theme-less.css” that we used to put custom CSS to modify the site.

The problem we are having now is that same CSS file periodically reverts back to an older state of the file, with old CSS that we do not want.

We realized now that we should not have used this file to modify CSS, but we are unsure how to fix this problem.

To be honest, I have no idea why this file is there and how it is being generated. Any help regarding where this folder and file comes from and/or how to stop it from generating an older version of the file will be greatly appreciated.

Here is a list of plugins if it helps:

  1. All-in-One WP Migration
  2. Comet Addons
  3. Constant Contact Forms for WordPress
  4. Contact Form 7
  5. Font Awesome Icons
  6. Google Captcha (reCAPTCHA) by BestWebSoft
  7. Hide Featured Image
  8. Templatera
  9. Ultimate Addons for Visual Composer
  10. WPBakery Visual Composer
