So I ran into a problem with a WP-SASS file for WordPress after dumping my old XAMPP version and replacing it with V. 7.1.4 (Mac) running with php 7.1.4 on my Localhost.

I receive an error when activating the theme:

The first one is this which I solved by increasing the php.ini memory limit from 128M to 2048M

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to
allocate 4096 bytes) in
sass/phpsass/script/literals/SassString.php on line 132

It did the job to at least make this particular error disappear, anyhow the next error I received instead of the one above is the following:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in
sass/phpsass/script/literals/SassString.php on line 132

I assume it has to do with the plugin which wasn’t updated in, I believe, 4 years or so. I pasted the line effected and causing the error bellow starting at “return”

public static function isa($subject) {
return (preg_match(self::MATCH, $subject, $matches) ? $matches[0] : false);}

Any help or hint what could possibly cause this error would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced
