Yoast SEO has modified the output of my meta title, how can I prevent it from doing that?

This is my meta title:

<title><?php wp_title('|', true, 'right'); ?></title>

Output without Yoast on home page:

<title>Mr ABC | Another WordPress Website</title>

While on a contact page:

<title>Contact | Mr ABC | Another WordPress Website</title>

These are what I want.

But after activating Yoast, it changes them.

Home page:

<title>Home - Mr ABC | Another WordPress Website</title>

Contact page:

<title>Contact - Mr ABC | Another WordPress Website</title>

How can I stop Yoast from adding ‘Home’ to my meta title on the home page?

Ideally, I don’t want it to mess around with my meta title. But I can’t find a way to disable that. Can I use WordPress itself to enforce it?
